We have blackouts here that sometimes last more than three hours. And that's every week...

AC is for wimps. Mine has been out for a week, and the temp in the bedroom at night is 92 degrees (F). I sleep fine, just keep a strong fan running. Now if the power went out also, I'd be down in the basement, curled up around a waterpipe trying to cool off.
I am talking about the office, all the rooms in my apartment have ceiling fans, mainly because the power bills are too high. I do have a couple of AC, but I only use them when the heat is extreme during some summer nights.....
I still have to keep most of the windows closed at night to stay warm. [img]graemlins/thinking.gif[/img]
Young snot nosed punks! When I was your age we use to put hot coals in our pockets to keep cool at night. During the day we would swim in the lava fields for fun.
